As with all dogs, the way they are raised will determine whether the dog is dangerous. I have a Malinois and she is very gentle and has been fantastic with my 4 year old son since the day I brought him home from the hospital. They can be very strong dogs, so if they are raised to be “mean” they would be able to inflict more damage than a smaller dog might be able to do. They also can be very “nervous” dogs, so if raised in a stressful environment they might be more inclined to bite or nip when cornered or put in a “scary” situation.
