Are Bees and Wasps categorised as pests?
Bees, and Wasps particularly, can be a nuisance and are feared because of their ability to sting. In very rare cases this can result in anaphylactic shock (an extreme allergic reaction to the toxins within the sting that, without immediate medical attention, can be fatal). Generally Bees are not ‘dangerous’, they are equipped with a sting but will not use it unless they feel threatened.
