I was stunned, stupified, mortified, apalled at a popular topic today on the wonderful world of the internets (to quote GW). Apparently hundreds of thousands of people in this country forgot that Martin Luther King Jr. Day is a federal holiday. This means no schools, post offices, any other government offices, or BANKS are open today. It really speaks to the state of the nation that people cannot remember this simple fact. If you found this article because you stumbled upon it hoping to find the answer you were looking for then this message is for you: Consult an encylopedia and get your butt educated! It’s not that hard to remember people. Martin Luther King Jr. was only one of the top ten most important men in the history of this fine country of ours. He was only responsible for not just affecting change in his community, but bringing about real change all across America. Men like Dr. King only come around every so often unfortunately. Remember that!
