Are bank account numbers and passwords being sent over the airwaves?
No. All bank account information is initially provided via the web during the signup process which is protected through secure SSL (Secure Socket) layers. During a transaction, PayCast transparently handles all bank account information in the background. A user never needs to know this or see this from either party. The only numbers you need to send money are a person’s cell phone number and the amount.
