Are Baby Signs and American Sign Language the Same Thing?
Yes. The baby sign language used in our products are the exact same signs you will see in any book or course on American Sign Language. There are a number of reason why the signs you use with your baby should be actual American Sign Language signs: • You and your baby will be learning a new language. If you choose to “make up” your own signs, you will still benefit, however, once you stop using the “made up” signs, you will have lost that knowledge.
