Are Avis rental cars good quality cars to rent?
Just about any car rental company will have the latest cars. I first saw the new Camaro in the Avis rental garage at the airport before I ever saw them on the street. I am under the impression that no particular company gets new cars before the others though. So if you are actually looking for value versus quality, Avis is okay, but other companies are cheaper for the same car. I usually go with Avis though only because they have a preferred customer program that anyone can sign up for for free. Because I am in it, once I make my reservation, I don’t have to go to the rental desk at the airport, I just go directly to the garage, show my ID, then they tell me which car to go to, which is ready to go. It’s fast and convenient. It cuts ten or fifteen minutes out, which is nice.
