Aventouras purchases carbon offsets to help neutralize the carbon emissions associated with each of our trips. We work with Sustainable Travel International to calculate the carbon footprint of our trips and we purchase carbon offsets. These funds are invested in renewable energy, energy efficiency, and forestry-related carbon offset projects. We also encourage customers to purchase carbon offsets for their international flights. We can calculate the amount of carbon offset required for international flights from your home and collect this amount when you pay for your Aventouras adventure.
