The way that the prices at those kinds of stores work is that they charge a lot for parts and items on the floor, but the special parts behind the counter are very competitively priced. Pretty much they make their money off stuff like car wash, nuts and bolts, clamps, tools, candy, and chemicals. Check this out the next time you go in. The things that you can buy from the floor of the auto shops I buy from Target for way less and I buy my car parts from Autozone or Napa.
