If you still don’t know, nearly 350,000 plus people in America die each year due to Sudden Cardiac Arrest or SCA. SCA is considered to be the most notorious and deadly disease amongst all as it can happen to anyone regardless of age and anywhere from private to public places. The increasing number of deaths related to SCA made way to amend laws requiring all types of establishments frequented by people to have at least one functional AED on site. Fitness clubs, parks, swimming pools, schools, train stations, malls, dental clinics and all others are now required to follow the law and the corporate world is no exemption. With regards to the above places where AED is required to be installed, it seems that corporate America holds much value compared to others.
