Are Atheists the Most Courageous People On Earth?

No. The most courageous people on earth are those that BELIEVE in a god that will send those that are fit for eternal torment to a lake of fire and then JUDGE ATHEISTS AND OTHER CHRISTIANS IN A SPIRIT OF MOCKERY AND HATRED. That’s totally ******* psychotically brave if you ask me. I’ve got NOTHING on them.

It does not take courage not to believe in anything. It is my opinion that atheists do not believe simply because it gets in the way of them “being the god of their own life” and having to answer to a higher power. They deem themselves “good and courteous people” proclaiming their own self-righteousness. It takes more courage to admit that we are not as self sufficient as we think we are and that we might not have all the answers. This puts a damper on our self-righteousness.

Your theology sucks as does your ability to reason. Atheists are nothing… They are no different than the majority of the world’s inhabitants who are lost in sin. They deserve no more praise for their disbelief than the countless practitioners of false religions deserve for their misguided beliefs. Even Christians do not deserve praise for their faith in the One True God… their faith was given to them. We don’t choose God… He chooses us.

I’m going to ignore the statistical issue and simply respond to what seems to be the underlying question. Firstly, you say that atheists are “blindfully” (I presume you mean “blindly”) going through life. Well, no. Atheists have considered the options and possibilities and make a reasoned decision that since there seems to them to be no god, they will live their life on the assumption that there isn’t one. What astounds me is that some religious people seem to think that only their belief in a god makes them behave properly and have an ethical stance on life. This is a weird way of seeing things, since most religious people choose an off-the-peg set of ethical precepts, while atheists, agnostics, humanists, set themselves the challenge of really getting to grips with their moral stance on everything (so do many religious people, I know). The fundamental ethical precepts of respect for life and for other human beings seem to be accepted by every human society. As for the ‘protection and
