Probably not, but I have no research to prove anything. There are many theories on this topic. I define astral projection as any method of seeing and interacting with the astral plane; this includes out of body travel, but it also includes many other methods too. If astral projection or out of body experiences are a dream state, then they are a particular subset that includes psychic perceptions.
