Are assistantships restricted to full-time second-year students?
We do not restrict first-year students from the 10-hour graduate assistantship positions. We do not encourage first-year students to accept 20-hour graduate assistantship positions, however. The majority of the business school’s assistantship positions are 10 hours. However, 90% of the [university-wide] graduate assistantships (which MBA students also qualify for) are 20-hour positions.
