Are appraisers licensed and or bonded?

0

Appraisers are licensed by the State in which s/he appraises through the Division of Commerce. An appraiser must meet specific criteria in order to be licensed. Brooks Appraisal Services only uses licensed appraisers… some other firms may utilize trainees — if you’re not sure ask. Appraisers do not need to be bonded. The appraiser does not handle cash or valuables and therefore bonding does not apply.
