Are apartment sizes measured by square feet or cubic feet?
Square feet. The size of an apartment is just how many feet of space there is of flooring(carpet, hardwood, all of it together.) It wouldn’t be smart to measure in cubic feet, because of ceiling heights. Then you would look online and see an apartment that was a huge amount of feet or something, for a good price, and then you would go and look at it and it would just have very high ceilings and not much floor space.
