Are any supplements needed within the ATI curriculum?
Each Wisdom Booklet introduces all necessary subjects through a unit study approach. Along with a solid resource library for project research, most subjects should not require extensive supplementation. However, you will find it necessary to supplement mathematics. Supplementation is necessary when parents note that their student needs to spend extra time studying certain subjects. The following may contribute to these needs: • A specific interest, goal, or the life purpose of the student • A particular difficulty for a student in a given area • Secondary education certification requirements of the home state calling for a depth of study in a certain subject, which may exceed that of a particular Wisdom Booklet Resource or project (e.g., chemistry or biology labs). Don’t begin to regard the Wisdom Booklets as just another subject that must be completed each day. When that happens, the purpose of making the Scriptures central in our lives is defeated.
