Are any recycled materials used in the manufacture of HPL?

Our paper suppliers use significant percentages of post-industrial recycled pulp in their paper products. The kraft paper used to manufacture our high-pressure decorative laminate contains approximately 22% pre-consumer recycled content. In addition, our Abacá collection is made with recycled banana fibers which make up approximately 1% of the total weight of the sheet (approximately 0.13lbs. per sheet). Kraft paper makes up approximately 75-80% of the paper composition of high-pressure decorative laminate depending upon the grade of material specified.
