Are any of the Sally Ride Science Academy functions optional?
The Sally Ride Science Academy begins with a reception at 6pm on Sunday, July 26, 2009 and ends on Thursday, July 30, at 1:00pm. Registered participants must attend all modules, group meals, activities, and functions of the Sally Ride Science Academy. • How do I contact you if I have a question? Please click here to contact us. • Do I need to book a hotel? All registered participants of the Sally Ride Science Academy will stay at The Lodge at Torry Pines. Sally Ride Science Academy has reserved and paid for all room accommodations for registered participants – you do not need to contact the hotel regarding reservations. • Can I arrive at an earlier date or stay a few extra days after the Academy? If you wish to extend your stay beyond the Academy dates you can make the arrangements with Balboa Travel and The Lodge at Torrey Pines.
