Many of LCRA’s parks provide trails with mountain bike access, but the most popular destination in the Lake Travis area is Muleshoe Bend recreation area. Also, South Shore Park on Lake Bastrop opened a new trail for all bike users in spring 2008 and is encouraging the mountain biking community to try it out.
