Are any beaches in Long Island open overnight?
Jones Beach is a little tricky. Once it closes there are places to gain access but you have to know that beach “like the back of your hand” because not only is it dark after it closes but it is so near pitch black I say ditch that idea altogether and if you travel there at night and don’t exactly have your travel route down pat you will wind up in either Babylon Beach township or 30 minutes from Fire Island before you know it. Unless of course, that is your whole schematic, otherwise, in cases like this, Long Beach is the way to go but know this, if you have thoughts other then just say, relaxing platonically, then you might as well hang that up right now. That will not happen on well lit Long Beach. Thank goodness (no offense but it is like that!) and I repeat thank goodness because some of us moral folks still exist thank you very much!!!!!
