Are anti-human trafficking activists preventing the liberalization of prostitution laws?

probably. but i dont think the obsession with the trafficking is solely about women and sex. its has become a cultural phenomenon up on the stratosphere with fears of terrorism. Government are maing it an issue of policing the borders, and i believe they are less concerned about women “victims” than male “perpetrators.” It’s the same as the terrorism they wanted, and disobey all laws.
