Are amorous relationships permitted between coworkers?
A41. Moultrie Technical College strongly discourages amorous relationships in the workplace. When employees or students enter into an amorous relationship, it is the responsibility of both to ensure that their relationship does not disrupt the orderly operation of the institution or its educational environment. The good faith reporting of inappropriate conduct by any employee or student shall not constitute a disruption of the institution or its educational environment. Amorous relationships between supervisors and their subordinates are discouraged for several reasons. First, there is a potential conflict of interest when individuals evaluate the work or performance of other individuals with whom they have intimate relationships.
