Are Americans Too Patriotic?
Usually, it’s conservative Americans who are patriotic and the liberal Americans who are not patriotic at all. Usually the liberals are the ones who say they are moving the the UK or Canada. Now it’s the conservatives who are not proud to be American and were the ones harassing liberal Americans for not being patriotic enough during the Bush administration. Kind of hypocritical? I think so. And a lot of them want to go to Canada because they think Obama will start a socialism. They will be sadly mistaken when they go to Canada for Canada has universal health care and a ban of guns. How much fun they are going to have!! I find SOME conservatives to be hypocritical. I’m not patriotic, personally, but I’m happy that my people elected Obama. I had personally nothing against McCain, but it’s a great deal that a multiracial man such as Obama would ever win the presidency considering America’s past. That is why some people are patriotic.
