Mark777, I just go on my own personal experience…I’ve yet to meet an American Evangelical/Fundamentalist/Baptist/ etc who knows jack squat about Christian Church history. A: In my experience, Protestants seem to know little about Catholicism — which means they know nothing about the history of their religion prior to 1500. In my experience, most Protestants know nothing about the translation errors of the King James Version of the Bible — and accept what is written as fact. In my experience, Protestants do not understand that the Catholic Bible has been unchanged since the 4th century (when it was first assembled). They do not understand that the Protestant Bible is an edited version of the Catholic Bible — due to the fact that martin Luther threw out several books in the 1500s.
