Are american cars better than asian imports?

The answer to your question is really subjective depending on what qualities you’d like your car to have. I personally think that there are lot of engineering points from Asian, especially Japanese and Korean car manufacturers that American manufacturers really cannot compete with!

The American cars of the late 70s and 80s were crap, this is what the people who hate american cars have owned , like the guy who has owned all those American cars and they fell apart, what the hell was he buying, not even the cheapest american car was never that bad, dont blame the car for crap care taken of it. I also think people foget that 80s imports has NOTHING for creature comforts, where American cars were fitting the bill and had more to go wrog with them. Now it only boils down to MPG, we are not in japan with an over population issues so our cars are not made to fit in small places and have 1.0 engines. We have big engine and room for 5, not small engines and room for 2 1/2. The cars comming out now form America now are just as good if not better then imports made by a labor force of the poor. Sure America messed up in the 80s but you cant hold a 88 Chevy to a 2000 import it’s not the same. America now has the BEST warranty ANYPLACE from Dodge “LIFE TIME” not one import has
