Yes. I was given 85 bulbs Hippeastrum johnsonii that bloomed beautifully after planting, attesting to their hardiness. Their first home was in a River Oaks garden, where they were planted in 1930. Amazing. That’s nearly 80 years of beauty and many more to come.
