Are Alpha or Baxi Combi boilers reliable?
There is not much to differentiate between boilers that are similarly priced.What affects boiler performance and reliability has more to do with proper flushing and inhibiting of the system pipework.Systems that are not properly prepared this way can contain sludge, metal particles,acids and generate gases that are very damaging to a boiler and its intricate components,decreasing life span sometimes to a few weeks.A bit like if we ate from compost heaps from birth.
