Yes. Allergy is either acquired or hereditary hyper sensitivity to matter (allergen) that does not normally cause a reaction. It is basically a misunderstanding of immune system ensuing antibody-antigen response. In nearly all cases there is a genetic tendency to acquisition of particular allergy, where we hardly find any antibody.
