In order for a veteran to be buried in New Jersey s Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Arneytown, he/she must meet the following eligibility requirements: • a veteran of the U.S. Armed Forces (Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps or Coast Guard) whose last active service ended under other than dishonorable or undesirable conditions. • a veteran of the U.S. Armed Forces who died while on active duty. • a member of a reserve component of the U.S. Armed Forces who died under honorable conditions while on active duty for training or performing full-time service. • must have been a legal resident of New Jersey for at least two years immediately prior to their death or a legal resident of the state for at least 50 percent of his or her life.
