Some marine lenders will only finance fiberglass yachts and most marine lenders will only finance yachts 20 years or newer. However, I work with marine lenders who finance older yachts and also megayachts, high-performance boats, multi-hulls and wooden yachts. I have even seen marine lenders finance boathouses and mooring or dockage purchases.
