If you have your WTF Kukkiwon paperwork and ID card no WTF school will ever take your Black Belt away. If you go to an ITF school they will let you keep it also and vice versa. We just got an ITF Black Belt hes third Dan but because he doesnt know all of our forms he’s going to be a first dan and the school owner is even just transfering him over and getting the proper paperwork taken care of. The only reason he’s getting bumped down is the forms used by the kukkiwon for BB are all100 percent korean. ITF taekwondo is influenced by Japanese martial arts and their katas reflect it. Our school even just got an ATA BB and we’re letting him keep his BB.
