Are all shy people considered self-centred?

0

Don’t ever feel bad about being shy, it’s just another part of your personality. Most people are born either introverted or extroverted, and this doesn’t make anyone better or worse. I don’t think there is a tendency to consider shy people as self-centered, rather, they can be very giving and empathetic people but this part of their personality isn’t apparent to others. Self-centered people put their needs in front of others, shy people don’t open up very well. If you talk less, it isn’t because you’re so obsessed with yourself as to not talk to others. If you see that stereotype, then just try to prove to people that you can be just as wonderful and kind as an extrovert, or maybe even more.
