Are all sewer lines gravity-fed?
No. The main sewer lines through the subdivision are gravity-fed to a collection sit called a Lift Station. The sewage is then pumped from this lift station into a forced main that connects to the main sewer system located on the other side of Highway 93. As the grades on the individual lots slope away from the interior roads, most lots require a sewage pump that was installed at the time of construction by your builder.
