Are all NAF employees who meet the basic requirements eligible to receive a VSIP?

No. Even if you meet the basic requirements, you are ineligible for VSIP if you: Are a reemployed annuitant; Are or would be eligible for disability retirement under any Federal employee retirement system; Are a non-compensated employee; Have accepted a NAF or APF position with another Federal agency; Have received a specific notice of BBA separation; Have declined to relocate with your position; Have received a decision notice of involuntary separation for misconduct or unacceptable performance; or Have previously received VSIP. There are also circumstances under which a NAF VSIP cannot be paid without a waiver, such as when the employee is covered by a written service agreement resulting from a Permanent Change of Station (PCS) or training, or is in receipt of a recruitment, relocation, or retention bonus. NAF employees should check with their NAF HRO to determine their VSIP eligibility.
