Are all international students required to participate in the international heath insurance program at CCAD?
The international health insurance program provided through CCAD is mandatory for all students on an F-1 student visa. Medical care in the United States is very expensive and this plan was put in place to protect international students and their families from the high cost of medical care in the event of serious injury or illness. The cost of this program is factored into the student’s tuition statement each semester. See below.
