Are all Infills the same?
When installing artificial lawn, the most frequently used infill products are silica sand and crumb rubber. At Lawn For Life we have chosen to use “SuperFill” which is an acrylic coated sand product. Unlike silica sand it does not hold moisture, which can lead to germs and bacteria, so it’s an overall healthier alternative. SuperFill is fast drying, anti-microbial and UV resistant. Unlike rubber infills, it does overheat, smell or smolder. SuperFill is 50% cooler then crumb rubber infills and keeps the heat down on the grass. It is anti-flammable with no chemical residue, smell or metal content. Therefore, our healthier, low-maintenance product is a safer alternative for children, pets and anyone who spends time in a yard.
