Are all German soldiers from WW2 considered Nazis?
No. In fact, most of Germany was not “Nazis” as you had to be an official party member to be considered a Nazi. But the vast majority of Germans did support Hitler and he only did what he felt had “approval” of the German people. Every time the German people would actually stand up to Hitler and the Nazi Party, Hitler would back down as he did not want to lose favor with “his people.” For example, there were Jewish men living openly inside of Germany even as late as 1943. Their wives were German women and they stood up to Hitler and demanded their husbands back. There is even a movie about it called “Rosenstrasse.” Link below is about the protest. Along the same lines, when you ask who caused the Holocaust, some people say Hitler, some say the Nazis, some say the Germans and some say everyone. I tend to go with the “everyone” as the Germans had more than enough help in every nation they invaded (except Denmark), not to mention the Allied nations not doing anything to stop it.
