Are all forms of the military cautious about mental illness?

There might be chance, but I would probably no. Being hospitalized and harming yourself is be deal for the military. There is a lot of stress being the military without having deal with combat. I am not saying you cannot get in, but the chances may not be good. I would talk to a recruiter. The chances of joining the military depend on who you enlist with and what your situation is. And sake of your own sanity be honest about any mental illness. I have AD HD and I got in because I do not take any meds for it. Talk to recruiter who will help make the best decision for you.
