NO, there are various forms of nasal irrigation or nasal washing most of which use saline – just water & salt – to cleanse the nose. Applying the saline solution has never been easy or pleasant. A wide variety of applicators have been used, but many of these fall under one of two categories Positive Pressure Irrigation and Negative Pressure Irrigation. Positive Pressure Irrigation uses Lavage Bottles to direct a saline based solution into the nose.
