Are all fishing charters family or kid friendly?
I would say use your best judgement when choosing a charter that advertises “Family Fishing.” I would suggest you look at the boats respective websites to see if they have a lot of recent pictures of kids and families onboard. I would also look for testimonials or customer reviews to see if they live up to what they offer. Some boats take mostly overnight charters and do not have a lot of kids onboard on most of their trips. However, our fishing charters always act professionally and you can rest assured that you will be treated with respect at all times.
NO WAY – In the past few years, there were a lot of charter boats that used to take meat hunters fishing as their primary business. The economy took a dive and so did the ability to keep a lot of fish. The charter boats that did not have to be nice to their guests, found themselves about to go out of business. They saw us doing what we do best and were successful at it. All of a sudden, every other charter boat started saying they were “family friendly,” trying to get that family business. That is why it is important to do your homework about the charter you are considering putting your family on.
