You can go to this website and request a free copy of the quran translated into English. It is for non-Muslims living in North America. I got my copy there. I can’t remember who the author is and my copy is currently still in storage from when I moved recently. I would think though that since it’s from an Islamic website it would be an approved translation. http://www.islamicity.com You can use it to get started reading the quran, but you should probably get a copy where the author has added the interpretation of the verses in order to understand it better.

What is your question?
