Yes. There are specific legal requirements for fingerprinting and background checks provided by New York State. Sachem strongly adheres and believes in this requirement. Potential employees are required to pay a $99 fee (money order made out to NYSED) for this service; the fee is non-refundable even if the potential employee is not offered a position within the district.
