Are all CrossFit affiliates the same?
No, they are not. CrossFit is not a franchise, it is an affiliation. Each and every CrossFit affiliate is its own separate entity; however, many are very similar in appearance and operation. There are very few, if any, CrossFit affiliates that operate like we do. Here is how we operate: 1. All new clients meet with us privately UNTIL they are ready to enter seamlesslyinto our semi-private training sessions. We usually accomplish this in 6 sessions (including a nutritional consultation), but depending on the client’s background in fitness, it could be greater or fewer than 6 sessions. 2. During our private sessions, we provide movement instruction and coaching for: A. Weightlifting movements – slow barbell lifts (deadlift, squat, and press variations), fast barbell lifts (clean and jerk and snatch progressions), kettlebell lifts. B. Bodyweight/gymnastics movements – basic (squat, push-up, pull-up, sit-up), ring progressions (dips, muscle-ups), handstand and pistol progressions, etc. C.
