Are all caucasian babies born with blue eyes?
The majority of babies are born with eyes that are some shade of blue to blue-grey (slate blue) to violet. The slate-blue usually turns to brown. Violet eyes also usually change. (Mine turned to brown.) Whether or not your child will have blue, hazel or brown eyes will depend on whether your husband is dominant or recessive brown. If one of his parents has eyes that aren’t brown, you can be sure his are recessive brown. If both of his parents have brown eyes, his stand a stronger chance of being dominant brown. You can probably do a research on eye color +dominant recessive and come up with a chart that shows you more clearly what I’m explaining here. Good luck on your new baby. No matter what color eyes the little one has, there will be nothing to compare with looking into them.
