Are all cases airtight and/or watertight?
No. Airtight and watertight features vary by product line. As a general rule, injection molded cases such as Hardigg Storm and Pelican Protector Cases feature a pressure relief valve and o-ring to create a watertight and airtight seal. Hardigg “rotomolded” containers such as single lid sizes and rackmount cases require a pressure relief valve and closed-loop gasket. Hardigg containers come standard with an open-loop gasket without a PRV unless an airtight or watertight seal is specifically requested. Anvil and ZARGES cases are classified as water “resistant” containers and will require additional options to achieve an airtight and watertight seal.
