Are all artificial flowers really silk flowers?
A. In the USA, faux or artificial flowers and foliage are commonly referred to as “silk” although most artificial floral products are not actually made of silk. We purchase and design using only the most realistic materials available from manufacturers around the world. Our high quality, artificial flowers and foliage are made of a number of different types of materials (whatever materials produce the most realistic look and feel for each type of bloom or greenery), therefore, while the flowers we use for our faux arrangement are traditionally called “silk flowers,” they are generally not actually be made of silk. In fact, some of the newer types of faux/fake flowers called Natural Touch, Real Touch, and Fresh Touch are made from or coated with a latex-type material. When booking our services, please inform us if you have a sensitivity or allergy to latex or latex products and we’ll select beautiful, real-looking, latex-free materials for your order.
