Are all applicants interviewed?
Yes. All applicants are required to request an on-campus or off-campus interview, each of which carries equal weight. The interview allows applicants to present their candidacy in a more personal manner and to learn more about the Kellogg School. We view the interview as an independent assessment; therefore, the only piece of your application reviewed by the interviewer will be your résumé. Although Kellogg makes every attempt to interview all applicants, heavy demand in certain locations may require that we waive the interview so as not to delay the review of the application. Candidates whose interviews are waived are not at a disadvantage. The Office of Admissions will follow up with candidates whose interviews were waived should the committee feel an interview would make an impact on the final decision.
