Are all 12 days of Bucks-Only Deer Season an “either sex”or “hunters choice”?
A. No. Hunters must possess a valid Class N license to hunt antlerless deer. The 2003 antlerless deer season will be open on private land only during the Bucks-Only Season in 51 counties or parts thereof. In addition, these counties will be open for antlerless deer hunting for 6 days, December 8 thru 13, on private and public lands and 4 days, December 24 thru 27 on private land only. This is not a hunter’s choice season in the counties where the Antlerless Deer Season and the Bucks-Only Season are open at the same time. Hunters may take only one deer per day during the Nov. 24 thru Dec 6 deer seasons and during the Dec. 24-27 antlerless deer season. Hunters may take two antlerless deer per day on private land only during the Dec. 8-13 antlerless deer season; however, the first antlerless deer taken must be checked before pursuing or taking the second antlerless deer. Q. Are scopes allowed on muzzleloaders during the muzzleloader season? A. Yes. The 2002 legislature passed legislation
