Are Alaskan Malamutes good around other animals and children?

0

Absolutely! All of our Malamutes are raised around other animals and our 6 children. We have a smaller “rescue mutt” and a house cat, that our Malamutes are exposed to from 1 week old until the time they are adopted out. With that said a Malamute that has not been exposed to other animals would certainly need to be watched at first, because Malamutes do have a strong prey drive commonly eating birds, mice, cats, opossums etc.
