Are air port body scanners a breach of our human rights?
No. The pictures are deleted immediately, and the person viewing the pictures will not see the individuals going in/out of the scanners. People are getting rather worked up over this as a breach of human rights, when really it is only a minor issue. Our human rights are being abused in worse ways by the government, yet no-one seems to be saying anything about the removal of the right to protest, councils using terrorism laws to spy on people, and so many other examples of our human rights being eroded in a much more serious way. This really is a fuss over nothing, and there are much bigger problems in this country when it comes to human rights.
