Are air hydraulic systems on cars illegal in the uk?
Air systems and hydraulics are two different things. Air suspension uses air springs instead of coil springs and hydraulics replace the spring with a hydraulic ram. Air suspension is used on about 90% of commercial vehicles today so I doubt it’s illegal. As far as hydraulics, I’m not sure about the legalities but I do know it’s a good way to destroy the ride/handling of your car. It’s purely a show thing, I wouldn’t like to fit it on my everyday car. I think the novelty would soon wear off!
